Overview
Summary is the first proposal step. Use it to confirm project basics, customer contact info, and job site details before you edit materials and pricing.
Where in the app: Open an estimate → Summary (proposal step bar)

What you can edit
| Field / section | Purpose |

| Reference Name | Internal label for the estimate |
| Project Description | Short description shown on the proposal |
| Customer Information | Name, email, phone, company (Edit Customer) |
| Job Site Address | Where the work is performed |
| Fence Details | Lengths and quote type (display) |
On fence estimates, use Edit Drawing to return to the fence design tool.
Typical tasks
- Set or update the reference name and project description
- Confirm customer contact details
- Confirm the job site address
- Review fence and gate lengths (fence estimates)
- Click Continue to open Materials
Quote type
Quote type (Materials Only vs Materials and Installation) is shown on Summary for reference. Change it on the Materials step.
Navigation
