Overview

Inventory Management adds warehouses, stock levels, purchase orders, sales orders, receiving, and barcode workflows across Dirt Face.

Where in the app: Business Settings → Integrations → Inventory Management
Open: Inventory

Requires Growth plan or higher to activate. Tab hidden unless the inventory feature flag is on for your account.


Activate inventory

  1. Open the Inventory integration tab
  2. Toggle Enable Inventory Management
  3. The app reloads; Inventory appears in the sidebar

Starter plans see an upgrade prompt instead of the toggle.


Barcode settings

When inventory is active, configure:

Over-receiving policyAllow or block receiving more than ordered
Over-picking policyAllow or block picking more than reserved
Label sizePrint format for barcode labels

Connection to jobs and QuickBooks

  • Jobs can create sales orders from material lists
  • QuickBooks sync can push POs, items, and vendors when connected
