Overview
Inventory Management adds warehouses, stock levels, purchase orders, sales orders, receiving, and barcode workflows across Dirt Face.
Where in the app: Business Settings → Integrations → Inventory Management
Open: Inventory
Requires Growth plan or higher to activate. Tab hidden unless the inventory feature flag is on for your account.
Activate inventory
- Open the Inventory integration tab
- Toggle Enable Inventory Management
- The app reloads; Inventory appears in the sidebar
Starter plans see an upgrade prompt instead of the toggle.
Barcode settings
When inventory is active, configure:
| Setting | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Barcode prefix | Prefix on generated labels |
| Over-receiving policy | Allow or block receiving more than ordered |
| Over-picking policy | Allow or block picking more than reserved |
| Label size | Print format for barcode labels |

Connection to jobs and QuickBooks
- Jobs can create sales orders from material lists
- QuickBooks sync can push POs, items, and vendors when connected
