Overview
Estimate settings control whether storefront customers can save fence designs as priced estimates and how long those prices are locked.
Where in the app: Store Settings → Estimates

Configuration
| Setting | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Enable estimates | Allow save-from-design-tool on storefront |
| Validity period (days) | How long quoted prices are guaranteed (default 30) |
When validity expires, customers can renew the estimate at current catalog prices.
Customer flow
- Customer designs fence on storefront design tool
- Saves as estimate (logged-in store account)
- Estimate appears in customer account → Estimates
- Convert to order before validity ends
Staff can review store estimates under Store → linked estimate routes.
