Overview
The Shop Drawing Designer toolbar is on the left side of the canvas. Tools are grouped below by menu. Names match the labels in the app.
Where in the app: Create menu → Design → Shop Drawing, or Shop Drawings → Create New

Navigation
| Tool | Description |

| Select | Select, move, and resize objects on the canvas |
| Node Edit | Edit individual points on paths and shapes |
| Pan | Move around the canvas without changing objects |
Section Shape
Draw elevation and section profile outlines. Use the chevron on the tool to switch draw mode.

Basic Shapes
Rectangle and Circle are on the main toolbar. Open More Shapes for the rest.

Fence Tools
Open the Fence Tools menu on the toolbar.

Annotations and Dimensions

Dimension modes
Use the chevron on the Dimension tool to switch mode.

| Linear | Horizontal or vertical dimension between two points |
| Aligned | Dimension parallel to the measured edge |
| Angular | Dimension the angle between two lines |
| Leader | Leader line with text at the end |
Symbols and Detailing
Open the Symbols menu on the toolbar.

| Section Cut | Indicate where a section view is taken |
| Detail Marker | Reference an enlarged detail view on the sheet |
| North Arrow | Show drawing orientation |

| Weld Symbol | Place a welding symbol |
| Short Break | Short break line for a truncated view |
| Long Break | Long break line for a truncated view |
