Overview
The Shop Drawing Designer is the full-screen editor for technical fence install drawings. Draw elevations, component details, section views, dimensions, and callouts that show how the fence is built and installed. This is separate from the fence design tool, which handles bird's-eye site layout on estimates.
When your graphics are ready, save and continue in the workspace to add specifications, title block, and PDF export.
Where in the app: Create menu → Design → Shop Drawing, or Shop Drawings → Create New

How to open the designer

After saving a new drawing, you typically land in the workspace to finish the printable sheet.
Toolbar
The left toolbar holds drawing, fence symbol, dimension, and drafting tools. The header above the canvas has grid, rulers, snap, zoom, and settings. See Designer tools and Canvas controls.
What stays on the workspace
Specification tables, company block, and title block are edited on the workspace sheet. The designer holds the graphic that appears in the drawing zone thumbnail.
Save and continue
Save from the designer toolbar. Dirt Face stores the drawing in My Library. Reopen it from the library or from Edit Drawing on the workspace.
