Overview
The Budget Pricing step sets customer-facing price ranges for the Lead Generator: per linear foot for each height and color combination, plus prices for each gate type. This step appears only when Lead Generator is active on your account.
Internal estimates still use detailed material and labor from the rest of the template. Budget pricing is what prospects see for instant ballpark quotes on your lead form or embed.

Open: Fence Builder
When this step appears
The wizard shows Budget Pricing when your account has Lead Generator access. If you do not see this step, finish at Time — your template is ready for internal estimating without budget pricing.
Fence pricing by combination
For each height and color pair on the template, enter:
- Price per linear foot (installed budget price shown to leads)
Fields highlight incomplete until every combination has a value. A progress indicator shows how many combinations are done.
Gate pricing
For each gate on the template, enter a budget price per gate (single price or range depending on your setup).
Include in Lead Generator
When all required prices are complete:
- Turn on Include in Lead Generator App.
- Save the template.
The toggle stays disabled until every combination and gate price is filled in. If pricing was incomplete and Lead Generator was turned off automatically, complete the remaining fields to re-enable.
Step-by-step
- Complete Time and open Budget Pricing.
- Enter price per foot for each height/color row.
- Enter gate prices for each gate type.
- Enable Include in Lead Generator when ready.
- Save or Save and close to return to Fence Builder.
Tips
- Budget pricing is separate from your detailed cost build-up. Set numbers you are comfortable showing publicly; refine on formal estimates after the lead converts.
- Activate the template and enable Lead Generator inclusion for the style to appear on your public configurator.
