Overview

Vendor Cost Import History lists every Import Vendor Costs (CSV) run: apply-now imports and scheduled updates. For each run you can see who started it, when it ran or is scheduled, overall status, and how many rows were updated, skipped, or errored.

This page is available to account owners.

Where in the app: Sidebar → Fence → My Components → Catalog tools → Vendor costs & updates → Vendor cost import history
Open: Vendor cost import history

When to use this tool

Use Vendor Cost Import History to audit pricing changes, confirm a scheduled import ran on time, or troubleshoot rows that were skipped during a CSV import.

To start a new import, use Import Vendor Costs (CSV). See Related.

Step 1: Open import history

  1. Go to Fence → My Components. Open My Components
  2. Click Catalog tools → Vendor costs & updates → Vendor cost import history. Open Vendor cost import history

You can also open this page from the View import history link after scheduling a cost update in the import wizard.

Step 2: Review import runs

The Import runs table shows one row per import:

ColumnMeaning
File NameSpreadsheet that was uploaded
TypeApply now (ran immediately) or Scheduled (set for a future date)
VendorVendor from the file, or From CSV when multiple vendors were mapped
RowsTotal rows in the file
Run / scheduledWhen the import executed or when a pending run is scheduled
StatusPending, Processing, Completed, Failed, or Cancelled
ResultsUpdated / skipped / error counts (green / yellow / red)
Imported byAccount user who started the run
CreatedWhen the import was submitted

Use the status filter dropdown to show only pending, completed, or failed runs. Click the refresh button to reload the list. The page auto-refreshes while imports are pending or processing.

Step 3: View details or cancel

View details: For completed or failed runs, click the eye icon to open the detail dialog. The summary shows total, updated, skipped, and error counts. The row log lists each line with component name, vendor, status, and message (same statuses as the live import screen).

Cancel a scheduled run: For pending scheduled imports, click the trash icon to cancel before the scheduled time. Cancelled runs stay in the list for reference.

Tip: If many rows were skipped, open the detail log and note the reference numbers that did not match. Fix those fields in My Components, then re-import the affected rows.
