Overview
Warehouse locations define where stock is stored — shop, yard, truck, consignment cage, etc.
Where in the app: Inventory → Settings → Warehouse Locations
Open: Inventory Settings
Also accessible from Dashboard quick action Warehouses (/inventory/warehouse-locations).
Manage warehouses
| Action | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Add warehouse | Name, type (shop/yard/truck/etc.), address |
| Edit | Update name, address, default flag |
| Set default | Primary warehouse for new POs/SOs |
| Delete | Only when no stock or open transactions |
Warehouse count may be limited by plan tier.
Multi-warehouse behavior
When more than one warehouse exists:
- PO, SO, and stock lists show warehouse column
- Stock levels filter by warehouse
- Transfers move between locations
Link warehouses to company profiles when using multi-location.
