Overview
Job detail is the operational hub for a single work order. Header actions, status, and tabs keep customer info, checklist, materials, files, and history in one place.
Where in the app: Jobs list → click a job row

Deposit banner
When the linked estimate requires a deposit and no deposit invoice exists yet, an amber banner appears with Create Deposit Invoice. Collect the deposit before scheduling field work if that is your policy.
Tabs
Job info
- Customer — name, company, email, phone
- Job details — reference, salesperson, jobsite address, description (pencil icon opens edit modal)
- Job scheduling toggle — Requires Scheduling on/off (controls unscheduled jobs list)
- Fence specifications — fence type, style, length totals (fence jobs linked to a quote)
- Products and services — line items and quantities from the quote or manual entry
- Crew labor summary — estimated hours from the quote (fence jobs)
CheckList
Pre-job tasks with assignee, due date, and complete/incomplete status. See Pre-job checklist.
Materials
Fence jobs with a linked quote show the material list, sales order status, stock availability, and shortage alerts. See Materials and inventory.
Related
Links to the source estimate, RFQ, invoices, and sales order. Jump to related records without searching.
Notes & Files
Internal notes and uploaded documents (permits, photos, contracts). Add files anytime during the job.
Project History
Timeline of schedule events, crew updates, photos, costing, and invoices. See Job costing.
Edit job
Use the pencil on Job Details or the edit modal to update reference name, description, salesperson, and address.
